Dorien joined the Fipra team in Brussels in January 2017.

Dorien previously worked as a Policy Officer for the Dutch Foreign Ministry in both The Hague and New York, which included policy engagement as part of the Dutch non-permanent seat in the UN Security Council. Dorien has experience working in public affairs in Brussels, in the areas of online payments, cyber security and Benelux affairs. Dorien holds a Bachelor of Law and a Masters in European Law from Leiden University. During her Masters, Dorien focused on Competition Law, Data Protection and the EU’s Common Foreign and Security Policy. Dorien studied International Relations and Security at Sciences Po Paris, as a Masters Exchange Student. She speaks Dutch, English and French.
