An Attorney-at-law, Thaima is a member of the Paris and the Brussels Bars, and co-president of Fipra France with extensive experience in both the public and private sectors.

Previously, Thaima worked at Microsoft for more than 10 years, first as the Head of the Legal and Public Affairs Department before becoming Associate General Counsel and leading the team in charge of Corporate Affairs and Corporate Social Responsibility for EMEA (European Middle East and Africa). Prior to that, Thaima was Head of Communications, Public and Regulatory Affairs at a large firm in France. Thaima began her attorney’s career at August & Debouzy where she created the law firm’s Corporate Affairs Department. Before that, Thaima spent some time in the political and associative world, as member of staff for MP Claude Bartolone, former Minister of the French Government and current President of the National Assembly and as a founding member of a prominent French NGO, SOS Racisme, whose main goal is to fight against all forms of discrimination. Thaima is the President and founder of the European Network for Women in Leadership (WIL), a blue-ribbon panel of high-level women from the business, EU institutions, national government, academic and NGO sectors. She also sits on the board of Women Equity for Growth, the first private equity program in Europe focusing on women-led SMEs. Thaima holds a specialized postgraduate diploma in Banking and Finance Law as well as a professional postgraduate diploma in Criminal Policy and Law in Europe.
