Fipra, the pan-European and international public affairs consultancy, is seeking to recruit a full-time Account Director based in Brussels or London to help lead the business development opportunities of our global network of public policy and regulatory experts. Our network extends across more than 50 countries, including all the EU and EEA Member States, together with Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, India, Japan, South Korea and Turkey, amongst others.
The role will involve developing and leading business development opportunities for both the network and our core business. The successful applicant will need to have a willingness to travel, with the aim of building strong relationships across our network. The role will also require ensuring appropriate mechanisms are in place for training, evaluation, budgets, sales and contracts – supported by our network team and reporting to our senior management.
Applicants should have previous experience in international business development. Prior experience in public affairs/government relations and/or managing similar franchise networks would be considered advantageous, preferably with a good understanding of EU and international politics and public affairs. Excellent communication and networking skills will also be an asset: in addition to fluency in English, good proficiency in other languages would be useful.
