Christian Verschueren joins FIPRA as Special Advisor on Green and Digital Transition
We are pleased to announce that Christian has joined FIPRA as a Special Advisor on Green and Digital transition after a career spanning more than 30 years in public affairs. He brings deep expertise in business strategy, politics, policy, and regulation and has a track record in driving forward positive change and impact. Christian has garnered a wealth of knowledge in sustainability and trade across various sectors and policy areas including retail, digital, food, agriculture, animal health, crop science, packaging, paper, and environment.
Christian has been Director-General at EuroCommerce, Alliance for Beverage Cartons and the Environment (ACE), CropLife International, and Health For Animals (formerly COMISA). He currently serves as a senior advisor to McKinsey & Company.
Over the course of more than 30 years, I have been fortunate to lead international trade associations and navigate various value chains. I am now happy to share my knowledge and insights to support FIPRA in helping its clients deliver a positive impact in their green and digital transition.

Christian is a trained veterinarian with a PhD from the University of Utrecht, the Netherlands, He is passionate about nature conservation and serves as an ambassador of WWF Belgium and of The UN Race-to-Zero Retail Campaign. He is also a Board member of Natagora, the leading nature conservation organization and BirdLife member in Belgium.
A Belgian national, Christian is fluent in French, Dutch and English, and has basic knowledge of Spanish and German.
