Alyssa joined the Transport, Travel and Logistics team in August 2016.

Prior to joining Fipra, Alyssa completed the Robert Schuman traineeship within the European Parliament Research Service (EPRS). Alyssa followed various committees and contributed to reports for MEPs on EU telecoms policy and energy efficiency. Before coming to Brussels, Alyssa worked at a startup company in Hamburg, bringing in international business opportunities. She then completed an internship at the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung in the Brussels office, where she supported the international development policy team in government relations. Alyssa holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Studies with a minor in German from Miami University, which included a study programme at Leuphana Universität Lüneburg. Alyssa obtained her Master’s degree in European Studies from the University of Hamburg. During her interdisciplinary studies, Alyssa focused on the EU from an institutional, legal and economic perspective. An American national, besides her native English, Alyssa speaks German.
