Waheed Patel

Prior to founding Ethicore Political Consulting in 2009, Abdul Waheed was a Director in the Democracy and Governance Programme of the Human Science Research Council, as well as General Manager of the Business Parliamentary Office.

A former policy and political advisor in the National Department of Transport and the City of Cape Town, Abdul Waheed acquired extensive experience in energy, infrastructure, water, environmental, economic development, tourism and urban planning.

Abdul Waheed holds qualifications in governance and political studies, public policy and globalization studies from the University of Cape Town, the Woodrow Wilson and Andrew W. Mellon Foundations (USA) and the Commonwealth Secretariat for Global Advisory Services.
