Andrea joined FIPRA as a Special Advisor for ICT in March 2016. Andrea spent six years as an ICT political advisor at the department for information society and media at the European Commission (“DG INFOSOC”) where he was involved in the daily strategic and tactical management of policy making, as well as representing the European Commission in both national and international dialogues. Today, Andrea runs the ICT Coalition for the Safer Use of Connected Devices and Online Services by Children and Young People in the EU and aims to help younger internet users across Europe to make the most of the online world and deal with any potential challenges and risks. Andrea is also General Manager of the European e-skills association. Andrea holds a university degree in Political Sciences and along with his native Italian, Andrea speaks English and French.
