Artem joined FIPRA Ukraine as a Senior Consultant in 2013. Prior to joining FIPRA, Artem was the Deputy Head of Trade and Economic Mission, Mission of Ukraine to the EU in Brussels, where he played a crucial role in the negotiation of the Deep and Comprehensive Free Trade Agreement between the EU and Ukraine. Artem has served as a Chief Consultant of the Administration of the President of Ukraine in the Strategic Analysis and Planning Unit of the Directorate of Strategic Initiatives. Artem has also supported a number of international organisations in Ukraine on independent project work including USAID. Artem completed his doctorate degree with a Phd. in Economics from the National Academy of Sciences having graduated with a Bachelors degree from the Kyiv National University of Foreign Languages majoring in English, and the Kyiv Military Signal School, specialising in computerised control and data exchange. In addition to his native Ukrainian, Artem speaks Russian, French and German. Artem lives in Kyiv with his wife and son.
