Damir is a Senior Consultant at FIPRA Croatia with expertise in Trade Association Management; Government, Public and Community relations; Corporate communications; 6Sigma and Crisis Management. Having studied in the USA, Damir returned to Croatia in 1992 first as a volunteer for the Foreign Press Bureau and then working in the U.S. Information Service within the U.S. Embassy in Croatia. Damir gained extensive corporate experience working for Bechtel International on the construction of the Billion Dollar Croatian Motorway Project, leading the projects Public Relations and Government Affairs from start-up of operations to project shut-down. For 6 years, Damir served as Executive Director of the American Chamber of Commerce in Croatia. Damir graduated from the University of Dayton, Ohio (B.S. Mathematics) and completed his M.A. studies in Russian/East European Studies at Florida State University, Florida. Along with his native Croatian, Damir is fluent in English and also speaks a little German.
