David is a Partner at FIPRA UK. Prior to joining in 2012, David worked for four years on the British Prime Minister’s staff in No. 10 Downing Street. Specialising in economics, finance and foreign policy, Davids role included preparing Prime Minister Gordon Brown and Prime Minister David Cameron ahead of their weekly sessions of “Prime Ministers Questions” in the British Parliament along with co-ordinating advice for summit meetings such as the European Council. David acted as David Camerons Private Secretary during his first budget. Before moving into the Prime Ministers Office, David spent two years in HM Treasury, the Ministry of Finance, first as the Principal Private Secretary in the Office of Government Commerce and then as Head of EU Competition, Regulation & Enterprise. Prior to that, David worked as a Special Advisor to Ministers in Australia on economics, education and the environment. David was the President of Australias National Union of Students and graduated from the University of Melbourne, combining degrees in Arts (with an additional honours research year in politics) and Commerce (economics & finance). David is a Vice Chair of Business for New Europe.
