Georg joined us as a Special Advisor in July 2017 and is active globally for governments, regulators, operators and the digital industry.

With more than 40 years’ experience, Georg has advised experts in the telecommunications, media and technology, and postal sectors on strategy, policies, regulatory and spectrum issues, innovation and communication. Prior to his role as an advisor, Georg was CEO (Telecommunication and Postal) of the Austrian Regulatory Authority for Broadcasting and Telecommunication.

While in this role, Georg served as Chairman of the Body of European Regulators for Electronic Communication (BEREC) in 2012, and Vice-Chairman in both 2011 and 2013. Previously Georg served as a Director at the management consultancy, Arthur D. Little.

Georg has a Ph.D in Nuclear Physics from the University of Vienna and speaks German, English, French and Hungarian
