Micaela joined FIPRA in September 2019 and is an Account Manager. She advises primarily on the public affairs aspects of competition cases, including mergers, state aid cases and antitrust investigations.
Prior to joining FIPRA, Micaela worked as a lawyer in the competition department of the Spanish law firm Uría Menéndez in both Madrid and Brussels. In 2018 she was awarded a Chevening Scholarship from the UK Government and studied for an LL.M. in Competition Law at Queen Mary University, while working as a research assistant for the same institution on national security and public interest matters.
Micaela previously worked in Argentina as a lawyer specialised in Corporate and Competition law at the law firm Marval, O’Farrell & Mairal. During this period she was also a Professor at Di Tella University, Buenos Aires in Constitutional Law.
An Argentine native, she speaks fluent English and Spanish, with a basic level of understanding in French.
