
Olga Bakardzhieva
Olga joined the FIPRA team in Brussels in May 2013 and is an Account Director for FIPRA’s Green Transition, Energy & Industrials Practice.
Prior to joining FIPRA, Olga worked for a solar energy industry organisation and a Brussels-based public affairs consultancy where she worked on energy infrastructure projects and renewables. In addition to her work for the British Chambers of Commerce (BCC) in Brussels, where she focused on the internal market and energy policy, Olga previously worked on a Carbon Capture and Storage project for an environmental NGO where she gained expertise in a range of issues related to climate-change and the environment.
Olga has completed traineeships at both the European Commission (DG Energy) and the European Parliament. In 2014, Olga participated in the U.S. Government’s International Visitor Leadership Program (IVLP) on climate change and renewables.
Olga holds a Master’s degree in International Relations with a major in Political Economy of Energy from the University of Amsterdam.
