Richard is the Managing Director at FIPRA Singapore. Richard advises clients on establishing and building Public Affairs and Government Relations capabilities, managing specific issues/sectors and is building a niche at the intersection of Public Policy and Sustainability. Richard has worked extensively in senior regional roles across a variety of industries during his 20 years working in Asia. Before joining FIPRA, Richard built and led MasterCard Worldwide’s Asia Pacific Public Policy Team. Prior to this, he led Deutsche Post DHL’s policy advocacy agenda in parts of Asia. Richard has also held various advisory and commercial roles including at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) and the Japan External Trade Organisation (JETRO) based in Australia, Japan and Singapore. Richard holds a Masters in Climate Change from the Crawford School of Public Policy at the Australian National University, where he attained his Bachelors with Honours in Politics and Asian Studies.
