Senator Robert Bennett joined FIPRA as a senior Special Advisor in 2012. During his 18 year long and distinguished career in the United States Senate, Robert served on the Senate Appropriations Committee, the Banking Committee, the Natural Resources Committee and chaired the distinguished Joint Economic Committee where he was at the center of national economic policy discussions. Robert also served as the ranking Republican on the Senate Rules Committee and as Counsel to Senate Leader Mitch McConnell. Prior to his Senate career, Robert served as the CEO of Franklin Quest, Inc. (NYSE) which he joined when the firm had only four full-time employees. The business grew to more than 1,000 staff prior to its listing on the New York Stock Exchange. For his work at Franklin, he was named Executive of the Year for the Rocky Mountain Region by INC. magazine. Robert graduated from the University of Utah with a degree in Political Science. He is married to the former Joyce McKay and is the father of six children.
