Stian joined FIPRA Norway in 2018 as a consultant in strategic communication, political analysis and media management. Stian has many years experience in Norwegian politics both at the local and national level, being an elected councillor as well as political advisor. Stian has worked for various communication agencies in Norway. Stian has previously been the personal advisor to the Labour party’s Secretary General. Stian was educated at Queen Mary University of London, and has a BA in Politics and International Relations. During his studies Stian worked as a Parliamentary intern in the House of Commons. Along with his native Norwegian, Stian speaks English.
