Prior to joining FIPRA Korea as a Senior Partner, Dr Young-so Kim served as an accomplished diplomat of the Republic of Korea for thirty seven years across the globe: the US, Swiss, Japan, Singapore, and finally Egypt, where he retired from his ambassadorship and joined FIPRA. In his current role, Young-so advises the operation of numerous Korean and multinational companies in his areas of expertise agriculture, food & beverages, as well as the pharmaceutical, energy, defense, and IT industries, regarding government and international relations, and comprehensive strategy development for both global and domestic clients. Young-so remains highly active, advising a major political party as well as the European Chamber of Commerce in Korea. He is an active member of the Millennium Club, a high-profile network of Korea’s business leaders. Young-so studied at Waseda University and later at Kyushu University where he earned his doctorate. Young-so is fluent in Japanese, English, Spanish, and Korean.
