BRUSSELS, Belgium – FIPRA International is pleased to announce that Olivera Drazic, currently Director of Government Affairs & Sustainability, Europe, Middle East & Africa for Alcoa, based in Brussels, will be joining FIPRA early in the New Year as Head of our Energy, Climate and Environmental Practices. Olivera has long experience in those areas having previously worked for BP and for Fuels Europe.
FIPRA International is also pleased to announce that Willem Vriesendorp, a Partner at FIPRA International based in Brussels, will be focusing in the New Year on a spin-off new venture aimed at public affairs services for clients seeking to drive the green agenda and sustainability. FIPRA will be actively supporting this new venture and its objectives and we expect to be sharing both clients and staff, with the potential to create a positive synergy for the two businesses. Willem will remain a Special Advisor to FIPRA in addition to his new role thereby giving continuity to his existing client base.
We are delighted to have Olivera joining us in the New Year and I know she will bring tremendous drive, skill and effectiveness to our work on public affairs issues for clients in the energy, climate and environmental areas. We also wish Willem every success in his new venture focused on the green agenda and sustainability issues, which we will be actively supporting, while also continuing to work with Willem as a Special Advisor to FIPRA.
