The HYBRIT Initiative endeavours to revolutionise steel-making. HYBRIT aims to replace coal with fossil free electricity and green hydrogen. The result will be the world’s first fossil-free iron-and steel-making technology, with virtually no carbon footprint. It is a paradigm shift in the history of steel making and can play a significant role to contribute to reach E.U’s climate goals.
