Mexico’s InStrag joins the FIPRA Network

FIPRA is proud to announce a new strategic partnership with InStrag, a Mexico-based boutique consulting firm specialised in public affairs, regulatory and legal services, providing strategic support to companies doing business in Mexico.
InStrag has joined the FIPRA Network, a global collective of independent public affairs consultancies, as of November 2020.
With years of experience shaping policy and driving decision-making, InStrag offers a combination of public policy capability and a granular understanding of the challenges companies face in Mexico.
InStrag’s ability and dedication in advising front-runners looking to disrupt the status quo – from the world’s largest social networks and Silicon Valley unicorns to digital platforms and FinTech giants – add yet another layer to the FIPRA Network’s global offering.
The discipline of public affairs in Mexico has been growing at a fast pace, especially in the last ten years, with a clear focus on evidence-based policy, and consensus-based approaches with the national and local authorities.
“It is said that all politics is local, but policy trends are global,” says Juan Mauricio Mora, co-founder of InStrag.
“We look forward to helping businesses succeed by bringing a unique understanding of the Mexican regulatory environment, solidified by FIPRA’s global perspective. We are honoured to enrich an already robust network of trusted partners.”

FIPRA International partner Laura Batchelor said the new partnership is testament to the FIPRA Network’s relentless drive to offer clients the best possible advice in every market.
“We’re incredibly excited to be welcoming InStrag to the FIPRA Network,” said Laura, who also serves as Vice-President of the FIPRA Network’s Advisory Board.
Against a volatile economic and political backdrop, InStrag brings a robust local understanding of what drives policy in Mexico, helping clients to successfully navigate a complex interplay of national and regional regulatory landscapes.
Dominique Reber, President of the FIPRA Network Advisory Board, stated, “InStrag joining the FIPRA Network reflects our long-standing commitment to working with like-minded, seasoned experts around the globe and a shared aspiration to find collaborative, transnational policy solutions at the intersection of public and private interest.”
“FIPRA’s clients can be assured we’re constantly and purposefully expanding our international reach. With InStrag on board, we’ve built a bridge to Mexico. Another strong win for us both,” Reber added.
