Eva Grut-Aandahl is one of Europe’s most respected public affairs leaders in the pharmaceutical sector after more than 30 years at Pfizer, where she concluded her career as Vice President for Global Policy and Public Affairs.
Throughout her tenure, Eva shaped and led policy, advocacy and government engagement on some of the most consequential matters in European and global health. She is recognised for her expertise in enabling market access for life-saving therapies, notably in cardiovascular and metabolic health, and oncology.
She played a central role in partnering with governments during the rollout of Pfizer’s Covid-19 vaccine, a defining period that required strategic coordination, regulatory insight and sustained stakeholder trust under intense public and political scrutiny. This experience has made her an especially valued adviser to FIPRA’s newly launched Brussels Resilience Forum.
At Pfizer, Eva was known for her ability to effectively lead large, diverse teams of public affairs professionals and nurture the next generation of leaders. Her responsibilities spanned 57 countries across Europe, Canada and developed Asia. She brings this expertise in building high-performing, public affairs teams with a healthy work-life perspective to FIPRA clients.
Eva holds a Master in Law, an additional degree in European Law, and executive leadership qualifications from INSEAD. She is a Danish national.
