Flaminia has over 25 years experience in devising public affairs strategies and execution at the global, European and national levels. She has worked extensively with the UN, WHO and European institutions to drive policy change and delivered implementation strategies across different regions, with a particular focus on Europe.
Flaminia brings expertise in impactful multi-stakeholder advocacy in her roles both with the private sector (Roche, UCB, Astra Zeneca and Vertex) as well as in NGOs (EURORDIS and Rare Disease International). She has also worked in the EU Institutions.
Flaminia led the successful campaign for the adoption of the 2021 United Nations Resolution on “Addressing the Challenges of Persons Living with a Rare Disease and their Families”.
