Håkan Jonsson is a Partner at FIPRA Sweden, Hallvarsson & Halvarsson. Trained as a lawyer, Håkan has a background in diplomacy, civil service, and politics. He served overseas in Jakarta, Indonesia and as EU negotiator in Brussels for five years, including during the Swedish Presidency of the EU Council in 2001. Subsequently, he was Deputy Director General at the National Board of Trade, and State Secretary for European Affairs in the Prime Minister's Office. At Hallvarsson & Halvarsson, he is working on complex client challenges, often with regulatory and political impact both at national and international level.
