Jorge holds a Master’s in Public Affairs at Sciences Po Paris and a degree in Business Administration from ICADE (E-2). He began his career at Cariotipo in the finance department before moving into consulting. He went on to lead public affairs and advocacy projects across a range of sectors, including pharmaceuticals, alcoholic beverages, FMCG, and industrial sectors. He also developed a strong focus on transparency and public policy.
He has also worked with international organizations such as the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) and the UN-backed Khmer Rouge Tribunal (UNAKRT) in Phnom Penh.
Today, as a member of Cariotipo’s executive committee, Jorge advises clients on lobbying and communications strategies, helping them navigate complex regulatory environments. He is a strong advocate for the role of lobbying and believes that its professionalization is key to strengthening democratic systems.
