We have helped a diverse group of stakeholders to create the All Policies for a Healthy Europe initiative – a coalition of influential non-governmental and not-for-profit organisations, think-tanks, trade associations and individual companies– who want the European Union to make health and well-being a top policy priority over the next five years.
The FIPRA Approach
We supported the co-creation of The ‘All Policies for a Healthy Europe’ election Manifesto and engagement of the initiative with the EU Finnish Presidency on their agenda for an ‘Economy of Well-being’.
All Policies for a Healthy Europe primarily seeks a change of mindset: to recognise that all sectors and policies can contribute – both positively and negatively to health and well-being, and should therefore devote greater attention to these impacts as an integral party of policy making. In order to be a positive contributor to health, any actor will need to set themselves the goal of building not only financial but equally human, social and natural capital within their footprint.
