Lasha
Gogiberidze

Lasha Gogiberidze is a founding partner of BGI Advisory Services Georgia and BGI Legal our FIPRA representatives in Georgia.

Prior to founding BGI, Lasha served as a director of corporate practice within Ernst & Young’s Georgian office, in addition to his work as a leading attorney within the Georgian Consulting Group.

Lasha was associated with the American Bar Association’s Central and East European Law Initiative office in Tbilisi and has clerked for the Chairman of the Supreme Court of Georgia. He has considerable transactional, corporate, M&A, project finance, banking, oil & gas, energy, legislative drafting, and labor law experience.

Lasha has represented and advised governments, corporations, and financial houses globally over his career. He graduated from Tbilisi State University, Department of International Law, earning a Law Degree with High Honors, and he completed an LL.M. at the University of Illinois.

Lasha has been admitted to practice law in the state of New York, USA, and he is a member of the Georgian bar. He currently serves as a board member of the EU-Georgia Business Council.

As a former board member of the American Chamber of Commerce, he chaired the Employment Law Committee and was legal co-chair of the Commercial and Tax Law Committee. Lasha has also served on the board of the Muskie Alumni Association of Georgia.
