Prior to joining FIPRA in 2012, Tomas worked as an executive assistant at Cassidy & Associates in Washington, DC, where he was primarily responsible for business development and international accounts and also as an assistant to the Member of the German Bundestag.

During his time in Member´s office Tomas focused primarily on issues related to new national toll regulation and debates on setting up the European External Action Service. Since joining FIPRA Tomas has been primarily responsible for management of accounts in ICT, New Technologies, Transportation & Logistics and Finance.

Tomas has a strong grounding in international political and economic relations. For that reason he has been involved in several projects relating to international trade such antidumping cases and trade agreements with focus on TTIP. He holds a M.A. in Political Sciences from the University of Vienna in Austria as well as Master’s degree in International Relations and Diplomacy from Slovakia.

His masters thesis analyzing the prospects of the European foreign policy and diplomacy was published as a book. Tomas speaks fluent Slovak, English and German.
