Pepe holds a degree in Business Administration from Complutense University of Madrid and LIUC–Carlo Cattaneo University. He later joined the family business, Cariotipo, a public affairs and lobbying consultancy founded in 1997.
Since 2011, he has advised multinational clients across areas such as biodefense, sustainability, mobility and public health, with a particular focus on aligning Spanish regulatory frameworks with emerging scientific and technological developments. He also spent time in Melbourne, contributing to local community engagement initiatives.
After completing the International MBA at IE Business School in 2017, he became a member of Cariotipo’s executive committee. He has since played a key role in strengthening the firm’s strategic positioning, contributing to the advancement of professional standards in the sector, and successfully leading the company’s generational transition.
Alongside his professional work, he is actively involved in pro bono initiatives, collaborating with patient associations and supporting advocacy efforts on behalf of family-owned businesses.
