policy impact with FIPRA
Where digital meets geopolitics and intersects with sustainability, that’s the crossroad Barbara Wynne has navigated throughout her 20-plus years in public affairs. She has specialised in helping businesses shape opportunities and mitigate risks posed by public policy and geopolitical developments in Europe and beyond.
Barbara developed her expertise in digital policy during her 15 years at Accenture, covering a range of topics from AI, cloud technologies, cybersecurity, data privacy, and the broader impact of digital technologies on economies and societies. She has extensive experience in delivering effective government relations and stakeholder engagement strategies as well as thought leadership-based advocacy campaigns. This includes advising senior leaders on the impact of politics and policy on business strategy, alongside political and reputational risk management.
Before joining FIPRA, Barbara held leadership roles in government relations at Accenture and worked for the Irish Business and Employers Confederation (IBEC) on EU affairs and environmental policy. She has an MBA from Solvay Business School, MA in European Studies from University College Dublin and BA in History and French from University College Dublin, as well as more recently a certificate in Business Sustainability Management with the Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership (CISL).
