Edgár joined FIPRA in 2022 and is working as an Account Manager in the Transformative Industries & Services team. He specialises in transport policy with sectoral expertise spanning aviation, maritime and road transport, and a particular focus on the automotive sector.
Prior to joining FIPRA, Edgár worked at Airlines for Europe (A4E), where he focused on various policy and legislative issues with a special emphasis on the ‘Fit for 55’ package, post-COVID-19 recovery and travel restrictions. This followed his internship at the European Committee of the Regions (CoR), where he, as part of the cabinet of the Secretary-General, mainly focused on the policies surrounding the areas of transport and territorial cohesion.
A Hungarian citizen, Edgár holds a BA in International Relations from Eötvös Loránd University in Budapest (Hungary), an MA in European Union Studies from Paris Lodron University in Salzburg (Austria) and a Magister in EU Studies focusing on European Law from Palacký University in Olomouc (Czechia). Along with his native Hungarian, Edgár is fluent in English, speaks German, and is currently learning French.
