policy impact with FIPRA
Jean-François is a founding member of the FIPRA Group and founded his own strategic and public affairs consultancy in 1990 and was Partner and Director of two successive European networks before co-founding the FIPRA Network in 2000. A former Executive Vice-President of the investment company Marceau Investments, Jean-François joined Alcatel-Alstom in 1981 as Head of Information and subsequently held several positions in this group including head of M & A. Jean-François was Director of Economic and International Affairs for the French Telecom Employers’ Association for four years. Jean-François graduated in Economics from ENSAE, Paris, in 1970. He taught economics at ENSAE and EU Affairs at Paris Sorbonne University. In addition to French, he is fluent in English and can also speak German, Spanish, Italian and Portuguese.
