Martín has been twice a candidate for the House of Representatives, to the Federal Congress in 2015 and to Durango State legislature in 2018.
Previously he was the Federal Delegate for INFONAVIT in Durango; Chief of Staff to the Undersecretary of Public Education; Political Attaché to the Mexican Embassy in Chile and Private Secretary to the President of the Tax and Finance Committee of the Federal Congress.
Martin holds an MSc in Political Theory from the London School of Economics and Political Science, a Masters in Legal Argumentation from the University of Alicante, Spain, and a BA in Law from Escuela Libre de Derecho, Mexico.
Currently he is studying a PhD in Jurisprudence at the University of Chile. He is a columnist in several newspapers and specialized magazines. He is also a political analyst in TV and radio.
